Known for its cozy ambiance and strong coffee offerings, STEAM has attracted a dedicated following of caffeine enthusiasts and casual coffee drinkers alike. Whether you’re catching up with friends or seeking a productive workspace, this café strikes an ideal balance between comfort and style.

The atmosphere at STEAM boasts an inviting vibe, as several patrons have noted. A spacious interior allows for ample seating options, making it perfect for those who may wish to enjoy their favorite brew either indoors or on the charming outdoor terrace. Many have praised the delightful ambiance enhanced by the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting in from the entrance.

In terms of coffee quality, STEAM is often heralded as one of the best in Bucharest. Reviewers like Eduardo Pereira Antunes have lauded the fantastic service, noting that the barista’s skillful preparation of their flat white made mornings feel exceptional. With a selection of meticulously crafted beverages, including a highly recommended ginger lemonade, STEAM delivers a memorable taste experience that resonates with coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike.

While the coffee gets high marks, some desserts have received mixed reviews. For example, R C (Peter) found the brownie lacking, suggesting a need for a richer chocolate flavor. Additionally, Lowri Ollerenshaw mentioned the gluten-free biscuits tasted decent, but personal preference may affect how they are received. However, not all experiences are the same, as Alina C. Georgescu (Soopertina) has remained a loyal customer for years, appreciating both the quality of the coffee and the inviting atmosphere.

In conclusion, STEAM Coffee Shop is a must-visit destination in Bucharest for those seeking an exceptional coffee experience paired with a warm and welcoming environment. With its diverse drink offerings and spacious seating, there’s something here for everyone. Prepare to be enchanted by the rich flavors and the community vibe that keeps patrons returning time and time again.

The cafe has a good vibe and the drinks were nice. The guy that served us wasn't very welcoming and seemed offended when I asked if they had syrups. The girl in the other hand was really lovely. We tried the orange & almond GF biscuits and the Parmesan biscuit and they were both a 3.5/5 but maybe just not to our taste

It's good coffee but not quite as good as Origo in my personal opinion. The brownie I had with it wasn't very nice unfortunately, it needs to be much more chocolately.

Years later, Steam is still my favorite coffee place in Bucharest. The best coffee and also loved the ginger lemonade. First time in this location and loved the vibe. Big space, a lot of places to sit inside and outside, also great for working and pet friendly.

Definitely the best coffee in town. The service and the vibe are fantastic. Got positively surprised with the quality of the coffee. I do recommend the flat white though! Thanks Alex for making our mornings great:)

The small flat white I ordered was perfect! So was the atmosphere and the strong smell of fresh coffee from the entrance.

This place seems designed to encourage people talk. With the basic design and small tables. It was full of groups outside. The coffee was okay for me. I got the speciality brew It was strong and not very rich. But coffee is like wine. It suits different people. It was presented interestingly. The service was great and friendly No WiFi.

Same amazing coffee in a new location, near University Square. My only hope is that there will be rules for dog owners. In the location near Herastrau, dog owners do not keep their dogs on a leash so the dogs do anything they want. That's why I started to avoid that location, I'm not allowed to enjoy my coffee because of dogs transforming the coffee shop in their playground. Please don't transform Steam Arghezi in the same mess.

Such a good coffee place. I come from abroad and I like specialty coffee, but this place is simply one level higher. The people very friendly, the barista pays attention to you and your preferences, great snacks too!
